The old www.iterapi.com was made during some weeks in March/April 2005, to collect pictures from peace demonstrations across the USA for an email campaign directe3d against European media. No pictures was to our knowledge shown, despite more than 50 emails sent to major papers. A month later, the same email was sent to 500 recipients in US media, but none of the pictures made it to the public area.

Conservative Christians remove popular radio host17.10 - 2007 The conservative Christians in the state channel NRK finally succeeded in removing one of the best radio hosts in the radio channel for youth, NRK P3. It's the outspoken Mina Hadjian that was too much for the very conservative board of NRK, traditionally dominated by Christians. Mina had attacked the rightwing rise in Norway, and had to go.

2003: NRK-journo Petter Nome was removed from the main TV-channel's popular summer program 'SommerÅpent' due to his work with a 'peace-list', an anti-war contact list with contacts in many countries. His list was first stopped, then he was funneled out of the channel altogether and went to Iraq as a 'communications director' for the organization Flyktningehjelpen (Refugee help).
2006: Freelance journo Erling Borgen's film 'Et lite stykke Norge' (A little piece of Norway) was stopped from screening at major broadcaster NRK in a extraordinary move by a 'internal comittee' deeming it too low in quality. His film contained vital info about Norwegian companies contracting for Guantanamo Bay projects, and also footage from a weapon's fair where Norwegian companies participated.

Norwegian government introduces US-style surveillance of citizens21.04 - 2007 The government wants to store data about who you call and when you called, for up to two years. This is the first step on the way to mapping all electronic information, as demanded by the EU.
Today, Norwegian law requires the telecom companies to delete all information about phone and internet traffic when they no longer need them for themselves. Now the government wants to turn the rules upside down and make it mandatory to store information like this for minimum six months, maximum two years.
